Neuroscience of Cognition and Motivation in Rehabilitation

NeuroCORE is dedicated to translating motivational and cognitive neuroscience to develop innovative approaches in neurorehabilitation.

Our core research interest is to understand the neuronal, and behavioral correlates of motivation.

In translation to clinical practice, we aim to harness motivational effects to foster rehabilitation success. Our research methods span a wide array of neuroimaging techniques (high density EEG, fNIRS, fMRI), behavioral analysis, eye tracking and pupillometry, physiological data analysis (ECG), along with motion tracking techniques (optical motion capture, movement sensors).

We commit to the development of clinically impactful, evidence-based interventions that improve the quality of life for those affected by neurological conditions.
